Bayernnetz für Radler

More than 125 thematic routes

Have you ever discovered Bavaria by bike?

Bayernnetz für Radler (Short: BfR. In English: Bavarian network for cyclists)

The Bayernnetz für Radler is a nationwide cycling network with currently around 125 thematic routes and a total length of around 9.000 km. It makes the whole of Bavaria “experienceable”.

Uniform quality criteria apply to the routes that are part of the Bayernnetz für Radler. For example, the routes are safe and follow separate cycle paths, agricultural roads or roads with little traffic.

The Bayernnetz für Radler is primarily aimed at leisure and touring cyclists because the route is as close to nature as possible and with as little traffic as possible. It is not designed for sports cyclists with racing bikes or mountain bikes.

The Bayernnetz für Radler (BfR) is identified by the logo with the white “Y” on a blue background, which is used to signpost the BfR routes.
